AI and personal boundaries: where does curiosity end and privacy begin?

I tried one of those AI photo apps out of curiosity just to see what it could do. It was kind of mind-blowing how real it looked, but it also made me feel uneasy. Even though I only used my own picture, I couldn’t stop thinking — what if someone used this on me without asking? I get that people are curious, but at what point does that curiosity cross into invasion of privacy?

Yeah, I totally get that. Curiosity is fine until it starts involving someone else’s image without their consent. I checked out undress ai a while ago to understand how these tools actually process photos, and I was surprised by how advanced the algorithms are. Still, I think the responsibility is 100% on the user. The tech isn’t “bad” by itself, but how people use it can really mess with someone’s trust and personal boundaries.

Evolution of quality — how replicas have improved over the years

A few years back, I bought a replica that looked decent from afar but felt way off up close — rough finishing, cheap clasp, and the lume was basically nonexistent. Fast-forward to now, I checked out some newer pieces, and they seem miles ahead. Even macro photos look great. I’m curious — do you guys feel the same way? Oh, absolutely. The difference between what we had 5–6 years ago and now is night and day. The machining, the bezels, even the engravings — they’ve stepped up big time. I remember checking some comparisons on Official vs factory and was surprised how close the top factories have gotten. Some of the newer movements even match the sweep and feel of originals. It’s wild how far things have come.
