Q. How many units can be paralleled.

A. You can parallel in theory up to 16 inverters on a single phase, or 15 inverters configured into three-phase.

The main issue you need to be aware of is the load current. When inverters are in parallel if one of the relays in one of the inverters connects milliseconds before the other relays in the other inverters then the full load current could pass through a single inverter.

If uses UPS function then I will suggest a maximum number of inverters used in the three-phase configuration, would be Nine or in a single phase configuration would be three. This only applies to 8kw inverters as they have overrated contactors ( Relays )

For 5kw max 2 per phase

I have 6 x 5kw inverters in parallel. I expected that all 6 would be sharing the load roughly equal. However 1 is almost always idle, 2 and 3 do nothing and 3-4-5 do all the work. I'm expecting with this config that the last 3 will fail well before the first 3 due to the additional stress on them.
