SOC jumping – Battery balance?
I’ve had my inverter running for 6 weeks and I’ve had two days when the solar has charged the battery to 99% but something doesn’t look right with the SOC.
I have 4x Sunsynk 5.32 batteries in parallel.
Charging looks normal until the SOC reaches 88% then in a space of 4 minutes it jumps to 99%
I’m thinking it could be a problem with balancing the battery packs. Does anyone have experience of this?
Is it a case of connecting on battery pack at a time and charging until 100% before reconnecting them all in parallel?

Thanks, thats very helpful.
My installer did not do any balance on install so I'll fix it this week.
I'm force charging in winter anyway so after balancing I can change the charge to 100% peridoically.
What would constitute a regular 100% charge? In the winter I grid charge twice a day but not to 100%. Would a 100% charge once a week, that is one charge in 14 be reasonable or would you recomend more frequently?
