My utility is coming to change my meter to bi-directional on Tuesday. I'm not sure which settings should be selected to do the following:

1) My solar panels should power my house (load) and charge my batteries first. If there is any excess, it should be exported to the grid.

2) Power stored in my batteries should NOT be exported to the grid.

Basically, perform your normal functions and ONLY export when PV is available in excess of what the load and batteries require.

Can anyone assist?
