Upand running.......
Finally got my 9,7kw array connected to 2 parrallel Ecco 5kw....battery is self build EEL 15.5kw using Seplos (communicates no issues)
My solar panels are 80m from my listed building on a solar frame orientation south......... using 4mm SWA to conncet 4 strings. The only issue I have is at full tilt.......at 12.30pm ....I get around 8.5kw ... not the theoretical 9.7. I think this is due to cable resistance....which I calculated at around 7% to 8% loss. Interestingly at lower wattages the system is quite efficient...(obviously losses are less) ie at 8am in the morning I have seen 2.5kw and by 10am its up around 6.5kw.
I am thinking of adding a shed near the array...so I could get another string facing east/west. If I did that I could reconfigure my main array to 3 stings ........ upping my dc voltage from 240v up to around 315v .......this may help reduce my losses......and increase efficiency.
Anyway monitoring things at the moment.....so far my record is 65kw generated on a good day, 32kw of that sent to the grid....

All my panels are on an external array....so combining into say 3x8 would work well...
