Battery before grid
Hi all I have a client with 2 x 8kw inverters connected in parallel and 22kWh Revov batteries and 13.9kWp PV solar array. The client base load and charge the batteries from solar during the day, and this is working fine. however he wants to use the battery at night to power both UPS and Grid load. the Battery BMS is communicating with the master inverter. I have set-up the "systems Mode to use the battery between 17:00 and 8:00 in the morning down to 20%. When the sun goes down the system starts taking power from the grid not the battery. I need to use the battery first when no solar is unavailable. please help me rectify this issue.

Correct. You just need to configure the master. Slave will pull the settings from the master but the charge and discharge should be set on both and limited accordingly. Or that’s what I was told. Collect output should be 16kw.
