Sunsynk 5.5kW ECCO - Hybrid Inverter
Hi there
At the moment I have a 7.2kw off grid system with 6x 5.12 pytel lithium batteries. I’m looking to extend it to extra 4.3kw in total of 11.5kw. I’m getting to replace my off grid inverter with your two inverters. I know they are 2x5.5kw but I already applied an 1.1 ratio as will be perfectly safe for 11.5kw. I’d like to go for hybrid as I’d like to start export any sulphur of power back to grid as well…
So there are few questions I’d like to ask before I will purchase your product.
1. Do I need any Wi-Fi dongle or there is one already installed so I will have remote access to setting etc?
2. Is there a setting to letting me run the whole system as- power from pv will run load> if surplus then charge batteries> if surplus( batteries 100%) will export to grid? I need batteries to be charge ONLY from PV- is that possible ? ( want to keep the whole system off grid with only any surplus exported to grid.
3. In winter time as I have E7 tariff I would like to charge batteries on timer at night(2-3hrs to keep them balanced-max50%) and use it at day with possibility of charging the rest of batteries with any extra pv surplus?I understand from own experience that export will be very limited.
4. As I have existing pv system(18x 400w) I have only option to add 430W panels and I know I will lose some efficiency but I’m fine with that. So, could you pls check the diagram in attachment and let me know if this way of connection is acceptable and safe with your inverters in parallel setup?
Regards

5x Pylontech US5000. We use about 22kWh per day so the hope is that in winter i charge them overnight during the cheap rate period and they'll then see us through to the start of the next. - ie about 18 or 19 hours. At the moment i'm only seeing about 30% consumption overnight once solar drops off and they're usually fully charged again by around 11.30 and then exporting all day.
