Disconnects load after Grid restored
Hi, I have multiple installs, first time I have encountered an issue with a 5kw inverter with a 5kw sunsynk battery. When the grid is restored the inverter disconnects the load causing a blackout and returning to normal a few minutes later. Have updated the firmware on the inverter and battery, all settings are good within spec,no fault codes are showing. All cabling is correct and BMS working fine I reset the inverter, which was fine for a week, and then the problem started again. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Just a thought. I once had problems with a UPS installation with a load of IT equipment. To test the system we would unplug the 3phase connector. All was well the UPS took over. When plugged back in the RCD on the load would trip. I think what was happening is when we removed the plug we were also removing the N/E bonding. The load was happy to run floating. However, every unit would have had filter capacitors on their inputs. With city power the capacitors between N and E would have close to zero volts. However when running with no link these capacitors would float up to half fine voltage. When the city power (nad the NE bond) was reconnected the stored power in these capacitors would cause an imballance in the RCD and trip it.
My theory, although never tested, was we could cure this by using a fairly high value resistor N to E on the UPS op. was thinking like about 10K ohms. May be someone would like to try this instead of a hard link?
