Why does inverter use some grid when battery has power?
I've noticed that a demand on load (electric kettle) gets suppied by a mix of battery and grid - even when the battery is full. I'd hoped battery would do it all....
Can you explain what is going on? Thank you

Thank you Globetrotter, that is beginning to make sense. Following DavidSB's suggestion I have now set Export Power Limiter to 2400w. I guess, from what you say, I should change that to 1200 - or can we rely on the inverter to stick to a good limit? I'll have a think about more battery modules.
