Charging randomness
Hi, not made any changed since the inverter installed as the installers left it in what looks like a good setup.
Anyway yesterday the battery at 90% SOC was charging at 1.5kW, but today it's been sitting at 87% at 100W+ charging for a while.
Batteries/ Inverter are a normal temperature, so not sure why its charging really slow. I know the rate slows as the battery SOC is nearing 100% but yesterday it was charging at much higher rate.
Weirdly others on a Facebook page have mentioned the same thing today, I can only assume there is some kind of cycle the batteries go through occasionally.

I am pleased it working again. I do not know of a BMS performing maintenance tasks. They are responsible for protecting the battery, eg stopping overcharging, or falling below minimum charge, report the battery config and status to the inverter, limit charge and discharge currents, jus to name a few. The inverter will normally manage the maintenance of the battery. As you have a lithium battery there is no need to perform equalization so I suggest that you set the Equalization days to 0 = disable equalization.
