AC coupled battery - using 2-3 kWh during peak hours - Solved
Hi,
I've set up 3.6kW Ecco with 2x 280Ah. Seplos as AC coupled battery.
CT is installed on the Luve just off the meter before any splits.
According to the IHD, Octopus mini and meter data, my peak usage is between 2-3kWh no matter what.
Gid tickle feed is set to 0
Battery charges between 21:30 to 2:30 to 90% and then starts discharging.
It has yet to hit sub 50% SoC
I'm on latest firmware - new update was pushed earlier this week.
I have seen AC coupled Giv Energy inverter + battery that has grid usage of 0.2 - 0.5 kWh a day
Granted we had lots of electrical devices and practical switching is more.

L+G E470 meter was replaced today. New meter - KAIFA is more immune to EMI and IHD shows tickle feed to the grid at all times rather than constant 100-150w draw
