Beginner Questions
Hi I have had 5.6KWh solar panels installed and 5KW Sunsynk battery and inverter 2 weeks ago and trying to get to grips with all the settings. I have set 6 time zones and set the SOC to 80% during the day and down to 25% at night. We are not on Economy 7. IN System Mode settings I have also "ticked" Grid Charge for Time 1 (01:00 to 07:30) and Gen Charge for Times 1 to 5 (01:00 to 19:30 (start of Time 6)) making them orange and would like to know if that is correct.
Also on the Plant opening page there are Create Time and Efficiency with tiny up and down arrows which can be ticked - what do these do?
Finally fiddling about tonight I was suddenly loading the battery massively from the grid (my times had somehow been overwritten) and now my return is showing £3374 which cannot be right as it was £33 before (either that or else we would be all doing it!) Can I reset that measure?

- 5 kWh battery (battery capacity is rated in watt hours or kilowatt hours or Ah (ampere hours))
If you are not on E7 or any other time of use tariff disable grid charge all together and gen charge (unless you have a generator), set SoC at all times to a low value allowing battery to charge from solar (that is never limited) and discharge to that SoC as needed (assuming your CT is fitted correctly and other settings are correct).
