Can one export from Solar and batteries back to Octopus
Does the electricity exported back to Octopus or any other Provider have to be from Solar or can it be from batteries as well and if it was only Solar how would Octopus know as I think there is only one outlet on the Sunsynk Inverter after being converted from DC to AC
My Zappi does not appear to be able to difrientiate from Battery DC and Solar DC once converted to AC
I am on Intelegent Octopus and Irealise I buy off peak at 7.5p and export to Octopus at 4p but as Providers start to value mini generation
more it may be more viable

Flux is not appropriate for me as I use around 25kWh a day which is totally supported by Inteligent off peak @ 7.5p off peak and Solar. I have avoided on peak @ 31p completely and I also use about 50/60 kWh off peak for my EV each week
The main objective was always to avoid on peak and export if possible, was cream on the cake.
it is only an option to export if during a sunny day my batteries are 100% and my house is satisfied on the present 4p export rate, and during the last 6 months I have only generated 400kWh = £4
I was just thinking if the export rate at any time exceeded off peak, how I could deal with the option
The other response suggested he/she can not set their Sunsynk inverter to export at certain times of the day, the only time they can export is excess over and above a full battery and I believe a satisfied house
