8kW Sunsynk Hybrid Inverter or Data Logger HOME ASSISTANT integration
I'm getting an 8kw sunsynk hybrid inverter installed at my place next week, I just wanted to find out if there is any current existing integration from sunsynk to be able to integrate via home assistant, I've got everything in my house automated via home assistant and would like a way to monitor my solar power generation aswell as my batteries and power usage via home assistant (https://www.home-assistant.io/)
if there is no existing integration, does sunsynk offer an api I can call to get the information?
also if there is an API I can use, does it connect to the data logger locally? or would I need to call an external could hosted service in order to be able to access my local data logger?

I used this to integrate HA to my sunsynk using the new dongle and it woks well enough for what I wanted. It allows you to get your metrics and change settings if you're ready to get your hands dirty. No additional hardware was required and it took me about 30 min or so to setup. I was looking for this for quite a while and stumbled upon it recently, so I figured it may help someone else.
