Loss of grid charge during server outage
As many have already reported there has been a loss of monitoring today from with the Sunsynk servers, but would such an outage cause a grid charge to not trigger at the correct time?
I have two grid charge periods set. 04:00 to 07:00 charging to 70% then 13:30 to 16:00 charging to 90%. This has been working without issue since install
Today I lost monitoring at 04:45 (battery was charging normally) and monitoring resumed at 15:20. At 15:20 the battery was shown to be charging at the correct charging rate but only got to 70% at the end of the grid charge period. It looks like the grid charge only started at 15:20 when the server reconnected, and not at the 13:30 time that is set, although Its difficult to know exactly what happened as there is no data during the outage.
I also noticed the slave inverter time was out by over +4 hours
Is this possible that a server outage could cause this? I would expect local operation to be unaffected.
I’ve now connected Solar assistant for my control and monitoring. I was intending to run the SA and Sunsynk Connect in parallel but if server outages impact more than monitoring I will avoid connecting to Sunsynk at all.

Just go to basic settings on the inverter and set the time and date and deselect sync
