Possible bug/conflict when using Live prices. Timer Function won’t disable.
I have a 14 Solar panels connected to Sunsynk 5.6kw inverter and battery. SUNSYNK-5K-SG01/03LP1
L051100-A
Using the App for the following ( I can’t work out how to use my computer to connect)
I am on the Octopus Agile tariff and have live price enabled
under Plant, 3 dots, valuation method = live price
My region is H Southern England
I am in CB7… not sure if this should be A Eastern England?
I can see my Octopus Agile import and export rates, they do not reconcile to the rates I see on my Octopus account though, they are always marginally different, why is that ?
I have my charge stop and discharge start values set.
This seems to require entry as pence in whole numbers, ie 20p or £0.20 is entered as 20 and not 0.20 is that correct?
Now I am seeing some grid charge activity happening when the rates are higher than my charge stop value.
which seem to correlate to the Timer settings under equipment.
Under Equipment tab,
3 dots to edit then battery settings,
there is a grid charger slider set to yes
the Grid start (10-90%) this is set to 20. What does this mean?
In system mode
Work mode is set to Zero-Export
Solar export slider is on
Use Timer slider is on
Both Grid charge and Gen charge have Time 1 and Time 2 set.
If I turn either the time slots or the Timer slider to off this says it’s saved, however the setting do not save and revert back to the above settings being enabled.
Why will these settings not save?
These settings are redundant if I’m using Live price with Agile surely
I have tried this directly from the inverter panel with the same result, they will not save my changes.
The Timer functions are redundant when using Agile Live prices and you should be able to turned these off.
Any help would be appreciated
