want to reduce mu grid usage
have 5 kv sunsynk inverter and 5 kv sunsynk battery - using 12- 15 units at night. Want to reduce grid usage at night.Will installing another battery help reduce usage at night,if so by how much.

With those usage figures quoted, you will need about 15kW if not 20kW of battery capacity @ 100% around 5pm every day to be able to supply the whole night's consumption from battery capacity.
Doing the math (cost of 15kWh every night against cost of battery capacity), I reckon its not the way to go even if you have PV installed if the goal is to only save money at night on grid usage.
What is your whole day consumption like currently?
