NOW RESOLVED !!! Inverter not showing grid use, batteries full, but not powering house
Ref the below query I raised earlier - this is now resolved. I noticed from logs that the Grid was not going through my Inverter and therefore my App wasn’t registering any power from the Grid, from about 01:30 in the morning. Going through the whole electrical setup around=d the inverter, batteries and various switches stage by stage, I noticed that the blue power switch in the Solar & Surge protector box had tripped. Schoolboy error, if I’d noticed that a lot earlier, it would have saved me hours of head scratching & searching forums !
Hello All, I’m hoping someone can advise please? (I’m in the UK)
This morning, my Sunsynk App stated “Disconnected from Grid” & as many of us know, this happens occasionally, but the system/Inverter generally reconnects moments later. Today however, it hasn’t reconnected.
During the day, the batteries have charged (now at 95%).
Despite the house using over 6Kw today this has not reflected in the ‘Consumption’ from the App or Inverter.
Clearly, the house is using power from the Grid, but my Inverter remains disconnected (not showing any grid use), so my 2 x 5Kw Solar batteries are not feeding the house with power, and remain fully charged.
My Sunsynk system afaik is a Hybrid Inverter (10Kw+ with 2 x 5Kw batteries) installed in Feb 2023 and has been 100% reliable.
I’m hopeful that it’s just a question of adjusting a setting in the Inverter? The Fault code only materialised when I checked the Inverter this afternoon and it states F56 DC Volt Low Fault.
I powered down the whole system and powered back up again to see if that ‘reboot’ would fix the issue. It didn’t.
