Sunsynk Inverter not reading Generator
I apologize I am not technical and have very little understanding of electricity.
I am totally off grid with a large 48v bank of Lead acid batteries, powered by solar panels. I did have a 5kW Pure Sine wave MicroCare inverter and a 60A MicroCare LCD MPPT . I increased the number of solar panels and had an additional Victron MPPT added to cope with the additional panels. I have a Hoffman H6000E Generator that I could run and charge the batteries if there was not enough charge coming in from the panels. This system worked perfectly for years.
Just recently my Microcare inverter popped and it has been replaced with a 5kW Sunsynk Hybrid Inverter. The Victron Mppt was removed as I believe the Sunsynk inverter has its own charger and the newer bank of panels are connected to the new system. The old panels are still connected to the Microcare Mppt, but I think it works in conjunction with the new Sunsynk inverter.
My problem is; when I run the generator , it appears, it is not charging the batteries. I recently had this generator serviced and to my knowledge runs well and produces 50Hz. I have also tried running my very new Trade Professional 60004S /5500w. Over the phone my electrician/installer has tried various settings to get the inverter to read the generators without any success. My electrician/installer now says, "My generators are "rubbish!" , and does not produce a "pure sine wave" and the Sunsynk Inverter will not read this generator." Quote , unquote!
Please can you advise me with regard to the above.

Many thanks for your info Flipper . How do I get this overview. Presume I have to down load the SunSynk app? My Inverter system has a dongle attached, but I have no wifi signal close to my inverter, so cannot sync up my app and the inverter.
