Scalable mobile system
I know this will sound a bit confusing, but let me try and explain what I want to achieve. I start off with a containerized solution with three 16kW inverters running in a three phase setup. There is a battery bank to supply these inverters and there are solar panels connected. There is NO grid available. It would be a mobile system which can be deployed where needed. No issue thus far.
But here comes the challenge. If more power is required, I would like to deploy more of these containers. I know for going larger, HV batteries would be better. Also I can't just parallel the second, third,... containers as I don't think it would work with each having their own battery bank and possibly distances between inverters etc. How can such a system be set up? All I can think of is to have one container run as a "master" to provide the "grid" frequency and the subsequent containers run basically off that "grid". So output of master goes to input of "slave" containers. Then connect the load on that line (output of master / input of slaves). Then put the CT coils on and have it "zero export to CT" (to not export to master inverters). So basically the load will be "non-essentials" on the "slaves". Would something like this work or is there another way?
