Data Logger on slave inverter - Do you need it?
I'm in the process of adding a slave inverter to my existing 3.6 eco which has a datalogger connected.
My question is do I need to have a second data logger on the slave? I believe the answer is yes so that updates can be sent to the individual inverters. I just wanted to confirm.
I currently have solar assistant running from which I manage all the settings - 2 second data points and real time system status. I rarely look at the sunsynk app. Currently trying to automate via home assistant for agile pricing, but a steep learning curve for a non-programmer.
Thanks.

Yes - not only will it allow updates, but it will also send data to the portal for the slave inverter although you must always use the one on the master to change any settings.
