Monitoring Data and Comms
I have a site with a 12kW 3P Inverter, 100/5A CTs connected to an external Eastron Meter. I have UPS loads and non essential loads, The CT.s are correctly facing the right way and are attached to the top of Grid supply breaker.
Due to the distance between the 12kW Sunsynk I had to use a serial to WiFi transmitter pair which is responsible for comms with the eastron meter. the connection is fair with warnings however connection is always up.
The trouble I'm having is the monitoring platform which shows that there is recorded export.
I have been on site physically and I took a look at the Grid meter which is moving in the right direction with the set trickle feed. The daily curves do not indicate any form of export however the general purpose and monthly data shows recorded export.
Daily Graph
The monthly data also shows export.
WHAT IS CAUSING THIS???? I have checked everything, and I am stuck..

The trick was to remove the router (PUSRW610) between the devices first. While data was successfully being transmitted, it couldn't keep up with the rate required by the inverter to read the values. This resulted in a constant delay that significantly triggered export.
I then introduced 15dbi antennas to enhance my signal for direct pairing, and since then, communications have been perfect. Meter communication failures, which were previously frequent (over 37 instances), have now reduced to around 2 to Nil occurrences, depending on signal attenuation. I am transmitting successfully between buildings with an RSSI of 80%.
Wi-Fi functions well, but to ensure optimal performance, especially when other devices are using the same router for internet connectivity, it's best to avoid additional traffic. I have also discovered that PUSR offer the Lora range of the serial to Wi-Fi devices and I intend on testing out their performance over a 1km. I will look into the SOLAX-WI-BR as well @Groots
