Export Power Limit 300W error - UK
Hi there.
Just trying to set-up the Export Limit to demonstrate to the DNO that the system is G100 compliant and complies with the DNO MEL requirement (for my house) of 5kW with an 8KW Inverter. I have the system set to ZERO EXPORT which works fine.
BUT, I have to prove the EXPORT LIMIT
and, with
The SOLAR EXPORT box ticked and the EXPORT POWER LIMITER set to XXXXW [so any number - 500W, 1000W, 2000W.....] the System Flow chart shows a consistant Solar Export approx +300 to 400W more on whatever is set!!!
So if I have 1000W set it will show about 1400W export to the GRID!
This is obvs no good as the DNO needs to be shown thet the G100 Export limit works....
Anyone else had [has, if you could maybe check???] this problem on an 8kW ECCO inverter? I am waiting for an answer from SUNSYNK technical.
Many Thanks. Matt
PS This is the Export Power Limiter only. If I set the SOLAR LIMIT it is bang on. Set 2000W SOLAR [PV] limit and it will not allow anything more than 2000W to within 1 to 2 Watts.

It seems that there may be multiple bugs in their controller SW as soon as you do anything other than basic zero export, I've seen multiple inexplicable behaviours around constrained, non zero export, in-particularly when micro inverter input is enabled. My current favourite is this behaviour on the grid feed when you set the aux input to micro inverter even when there is zero power being generated by the micro inverter,
(Y= Active power in W, X = time in mS).
To be fair, Sunsynk/Deye are looking into the above at the moment and they have been actively pushing firmware updates to try and resolve, so there is hope that these issues will get fixed.
