Inverter suddenly shut down and reset
Early this morning, 04H00 my 8kw inverter shutdown cutting all electricity to the house.
By the time I got to the inverter it had restarted. Grid power did not go and battery bank was at 47%.
Shutdown is set at 20% and low battery is 30% while grid charge is set to 35%.
Grid usage graph did not show any spikes and neither was there an entry in the fault codes.
I am at a loss. This is the third time this has happened in the last three months so I can rule out a once off anomaly.
On another note my inverter and solar man are both showing power exported to the grid of between 0.05kw to 0.6kw in the evening. This despite the zero export box being ticked.
I am at a loss since there is no fault code.
Has anyone else had/resolved these issues?

Regarding the zero export, what have you set the zero export power to. If you set it to 0 then this could happen. The reason is that the inverter can still supply loads to the house before the inverter. When a large load like a kettle or geyser suddenly turns off, the CT and inverter take some few seconds to respond to this change and the inverter will still supply the power needed to support the load even though it is not there so the excess power is fed into the grid. I’ve set mine to 50w and still see some feed-in power on the solarman app but when I check the detailed graph of the feed-in power, I cannot see any power being fed in. I haven’t noticed anything on the inverter though.
