Suggestion - Real-time data from logger on LAN
People, in general, do not know about/understand the 5-min delay in data updates on SunSynk Connect. I often see complaints on forums/Facebook etc. about the data displayed on the inverter not matching the data seen on the app. A lot of users are finding alternative ways of viewing real-time data by using third-party logging hardware and software.
The most recent comment I came across was: "Our power just went off due to load shedding, but my app still says I am consuming 1042W from the grid. Is there something wrong with my inverter?"
Seeing as the data logger is connected (in most cases) to our home networks, why not give the app a "live view" option to retrieve data directly, in real-time, from the logger while on the same network? This could be limited to readings that do not need post-processing, like PV, Grid, Load, Battery, SOC, etc. With the logger running an ESP32 chip this should be possible.

Can anyone here confirm: if I connect to my data logger over Ethernet, does it have the same delay as over WiFi?
I too am looking at Home Assistant integration and I've seen the instructions out there an adding an RS485 to Ethernet converter. But I've never actually spoken to anyone running an ethernet cable to their data logger, so no idea if it works the same on WiFi and Ethernet or if there are differences.
