Inverter size
I have what is a common issue without most installers realising the issue. A client has requested to remove all their communal lights and access gates from the grid. Daytime load charging the access gates' batteries is 1amp, night time load of lights and chargers is 4amps. That is a maximum consumption of 960W, call it 1kWh per hour/24kWh per day. A 1kW inverter would be strong enough to provide my maximum load. The issue is that all 1kW offgrid or hybrid inverters in SA are 12 or 24Volt. To store enough power for night time use I need a battery bank of 23batteries. This is impossible in a small meter room. I am looking for a 1 or 2kW 48Vsolar inverter. Then I only need 2x 48V Li batteries. Does Sunsynk cater for this type of scenario?

Hey Sampson, I'd reccomend you contact customerservices@sunsynk.com
