Off grid set up with Generator

I have an 2 x 8kW 1P inverters in parralel with 1 x 18KVA generator. If I connect the generator to the grid input, how can I be sure there will be zero power fed back that could damage the generator. I know I can fit a CT and set to zero export, but how fast is this feature and will it block everything?

It is possible to use the Grid port for the generator input, you definitely need to use the CT coil on the generator connection to prevent the inverter from pushing power back to the generator and to increase the 'Grid Trickle Feed' to 150V. It will also be necessary to make sure that you set the all the configuration correctly, eg. must have it set to zero export and not set to sell to the grid and no solar export and you will need to make all settings to charge from Grid and Grid Signal rather than generator. You also need to set the option to 'Gen Connected to Grid' using the console Aux Load screen as this setting does not appear in Sunsynk Connect.

Because the 'Grid Trickle Feed' is set to 150V (or a value higher than the default of 20W), this means the inverter is alsways taking power from the generator which is good for the generator, so it is not really a timing issue.
