Kestrel Wind Turbines

I've just visited Kestral wind turbines in Port Elizabeth South Africa, what these guys don't know about wind turbines is not worth knowing.

They're very established company owned by Ever ready of South Africa really interesting and well engineered products

They can connect directly to Sunsynk inverter without the need of any special controller.

Who is approved to install these to our Sunsynk systems in the UK?

I have an 8.8Kw sunsynk inverter that has two seperate 4Kw PV arrays connected using both MPPT's on the inveter. Is it possible to also connect a Kesteral DC wind turbine as this would require a third MPPT surely?

That not what they are saying on the video. Keith says it will connect directly to the auxiliary connection (Dump load). 4.15s into the video.

I have emailed (4 times), whatsapp multiple times and called 5 times over the past 3 weeks and still no response from them. Does anyone have a contract number other than whats listed here?

I’m glad I am not the only one having problems getting in touch with Kestrel, it was advertised as full compatibility with SunSynk equipment but they do not seem to be interested in getting sales as they will not get in touch, very frustrating.

I too would be very interested in a vertical turbine to complement my Sunsynk solar system

Krestal don’t do vertical axis wind turbines. We have VAWT in Ireland, but require a charge controller and rectifier.

Thanks for the info
