Inverter keeps switching between battery and grid when battery SOC reaches set percentage.
Hi there My inverter keeps switching between battery and grid when it reaches the percentage to switch to grid.
In the screen shot you can see the battery SOC reaches 25% then inverter switches to grid and when on grid the SOC jumps to 30% to its switched over to battery again. The SOC then drops to 25% again and the grid kicks in. This cycle happens every 20-30 seconds in each phase. Anyone that can help or has advise?

using Sunsynk inverter as battery charger with separate solar inveter
I have an existing SunnyBoy inverter connected to grid. I have added a sunsynk inverter and 7kW Lithium battery. The solar panels are all connected to the SunnyBoy. I want the Sunsynk to charge the battery when there is excess power from the SunnyBoy but it just exports any excess electricity. The Sunsynk is controlled via the app and I'm on the Octopus Agile tariff. I cant find the appropriate system mode settings to charge battery with any excess power. Can anyone help please?
I think I have a similar set up to you. Our 4kW panel array was fitted twelve years ago to a SunnyBoy in the loft. Last month we added a 16kWh Fogstar battery with a SunSynk Ecco 8kW hybrid inverter.
We're not on an economy-rate tariff yet, so our batteries only ever charge from our solar panels, with the house load obviously taking priority. So if our (Ovo) energy monitor in the house shows we're not using any grid, we know our batteries are charging. What inverter do you have? If they have the same control screens I can post some pics that might help.
