Hi, I have an 8kw Sunsynk inverter, newly fitted without battery (currently). I am really struggling to find an installer who can advise on the Aux power function, 2 have told me that it isn't really a useable function and cannot be used to feed my immersion. Reading the install guide, it sounds like this is exactly what it can do. A couple of end users have told me that they have theirs set up to do this but cannot give me anymore detail.

I have an unvented cylinder using the boiler to heat the CH coil, with an electric immersion as back up. I want to link the electric immersion to the Aux load and limit say 500w of excess power to feed to it, whilst the panels are generating (saving me gas).

Here's my settings page which looks different to any online examples I've seen, probably because I don't have a battery installed. Is it a simple case of wiring up the immersion with associated breakers into the aux feed from the inverter, and increasing the 'solar power' below to 500w?
