Work mode for Solar + Battery on grid
Hi! I have a 6kW SunSynk inverter, with solar and battery, and we're grid tied.
I'd like to use solar to feed the house's load first, then charge the battery, and finally export when it's full.
I'd like to use the battery to supply the house's load, but *not* export.
Right now, I have:
* Work Mode 1: 'Use Timer' and no Grid/GEN ticked
* Work Mode 2: Zero Export, Solar Export, Priority Load, 0W Grid Trickle feed
This *almost* works perfectly. The battery feeds the house and gets charged by solar, and we export what's not used. During the night, we draw 0W from the grid, and when the battery is charged we are exporting solar power. However when the battery is charging, we end up drawing around 50-100W from the grid (the inverter is aware of this). The house is drawing ~300W so the inferter is still providing power for the house - it's just not providing quite enough while charging!
Any idea why this is happening, and why the inverter isn't just charging the battery with 50W less power, and instead putting that towards powering the house so we're no longer drawing power from the grid?
In the future I'd like to be able to top up the battery from the grid (pretty sure I can do this by ticking the 'grid' box in a timeslot in 'work mode 1'), but I'd also like to export solar (not battery) power to the grid rather than charging the battery at certain times of day. Can that be done?
thanks!

have a look on these two links
I'm still confused with these modes!
But would like to achieve the same settings as you.
On mine, i got the grid trickleI feed to 0.
since setting it to 0 I noticed less grid import, but still occasionally.
how to minimize this even more?
