Tips for Troubleshooting Sunsynk Inverter Communication Issues
Hi everyone,I recently faced some communication problems between my Sunsynk inverter and the monitoring app. After some testing, I found a few practical steps that helped me:
Check all cable connections – loose RS485 or Ethernet cables can often cause intermittent errors.
Firmware update – make sure your inverter firmware is the latest version. It solved many unexpected bugs for me.
Network settings – verify your local network allows the inverter to communicate with the app; sometimes firewall settings block it.
Restart devices – a simple power cycle of the inverter and router often clears temporary glitches.
Hope these tips help anyone facing Retro Bowl 26 similar issues. Does anyone have additional troubleshooting advice or best practices for Sunsynk systems?
Comparing the SOC Accuracy Between Battery BMS and Sunsynk Inverter – Which Source Should Be Prioritized?
Hello Sunsynk community,
I am operating a Sunsynk PolyTrack hybrid inverter + lithium battery system with a BMS and have noticed a discrepancy in SOC between the values displayed from the battery BMS and the inverter, especially after deep discharge and fast charging cycles from the PV.
Practical Observations:
The SOC from the battery BMS is usually 5–10% higher/lower than the inverter.
After full charge, the discrepancy decreases but doesn't disappear completely.
There are no BMS communication errors.
