Inverter / battery power discrepancy

I've got a Ecco 5kw inverter, and a Pylontech US5000 battery. The figure that the inverter gives for the amount of power it is drawing from the battery differs from what the battery itself tells me (over the RS485 port).

In generally idle mode (i.e. battery not powering the house, no PV power) the inverter reports it is drawing ~15w from the battery. The battery itself reports a figure of just over 50w. I'm not sure what the difference is whilst under higher load, I'll need to do some live checks rather than relying on logged data.

Given the power is flowing through the inverter, I'd expect accuracy to be much higher than this. Has anyone else seen this, or have any idea why there might be a discrepancy?

15W to 50W is less than 1% (measurment device accuracy is based on full range, so 50W would be exactly 1%, but your error is "only" 35W).

However, 350W error is something that would have to be investigated
