Some advice on using the Sunsynk inverter without a battery.
The Sunsynk website will be temporarily unavailable from Tuesday 5th May due to scheduled updates as we transition to an upgraded online platform.

Hi Kieth I installed a 5kw Sunsynk inverter with a 5.2 kWh Li-ion (Bull Battery) I can't get the BMS communications going. In the box I received a yellow RJ45 cable is this the correct cable for the RS485 BMS communication between the Inverter and Battery BMS.
For my circumstances, due to budget constraints, I want to first get inverter + solar installed so that at least during the day , solar can power the house, which will allow me to offset costs from grid. Then when I can save more money , will start adding batteries to the system. As long as this method doesn't damage the inverter and looks to be feasible, gives me more confidence to buy a SunSynk :D
Please could you do a video to guide installation of PV+Wind on Sunsynk 5KW. Looks like one can put PV on mppt1 and Wind on mppt2, but not sure about Volts and max power on each, any special configurations et.Thanks
