So, there is now a (UK) Octopus Flux setting in the app for the inverter - that shows the ability to set import (charge) for the inverter (and batteries) during the cheap period overnight, and a programmed dump (export) of some battery capacity during the peak price period in early evening.

great idea and really helpful for us in the UK - except...... it seems to do nothing! nether import nor export.in either session. I can see it's changed a bunch of settings, but doesn't seem to be working (I would expect to see the afternoon dump period doing something at this time - although not the charging as the batteries enter the afternoon period full).

so is this meant to be working ? I did manually set the settings for a couple of days (changing system mode and so on to make it dump the batteries) but it was fiddly to do manually - it did however make a significant contribution to the systems earning potential and so is worth getting working if at all possible.

is there something else I need to change? how can I test it other than looking for the dump or charge cycles?
