The new capacity was not auto-updated after installing a second battery?
So I installed a second Sunsynk 5.12kWh BYD battery using the diagram below, but the Inverter still shows 100Ah as capacity.

I kept the existing battery as Master, that is the CAN connection from the inverter goes into it as it was before and then just connected the battery to the battery CAN cable from the Link OUT to the Link IN of the new battery. I also connected the power cables as is shown on the diagram above. I also followed the Power ON procedure exactly as it is from the inverter and battery guides. That is: Inverter:
Switch on AC
Press Start Button
Switch on Battery and battery breaker
Switch on the DC (PV Isolator)
Battery: For multiple SUN-BATT-5.12 in parallel, switch ON rocker switch on all batteries, long press (more than 3 seconds) ON/OFF button of MASTER battery, LED will flash, battery system will automatically encode and assign ID to each slave battery, then battery system will operate normally. Yet, the Battery page on the Inverter says 100Ah:

I noticed that the RUN LEDs on the two batteries are currently both lit. A few minutes ago, however, they were both blinking and some more time ago one was lit(slave) and the other(master) was blinking. The left one is supposed to be Master.
As I am still writing this post they both started blinking again (second video)...

The BMS screen also shows no errors and seems normal:

Any suggestions and/or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kalin,
Just wondered if you had managed to resolve or at least understand your issue.
When my 3.6kwh Ecco inverter was installed, the ah showed as 200ah and was changed manually to reflect a single battery (100ah).
I too want to install a second battery and was also wondering what size inverter you are using and how you have been getting on charging them in our mirky winter months.
Kind regards
Chris
