Micro Inverter Input

Hi. I'm in the UK and have a SS 3.6 Ecco. I'm limited to 3.6kW export (G98). I'm wanting to make use of the micro-inverter input to add another 1.5kW array which will get the sun before my main array. I can't seem to find the answer to whether the SS will keep the total export limited at 3.6kW (as set in grid settings) even with the extra inverter added?

As an addon question, if the second inverter is AC coupled (as per Keith's video "AC coupling a Sunsynk Inverter") using common CT clamp, will the export be limited to 3.6kW in this scenario too? Thanks

If you use a AC Coupled inverter then this inverter will also need to have the export limit set. For example if the main inverter is set to limit export to 3.6kW then the AC coupled inverter will need to be set to 0kW export if you total limit export is 3.6kW.

If you are using Micro Inverters connected to the Gen/Aux port then the export limit on the inverter will limit the export for both.

I am not in the UK, but you will need to follow the local supply requirements as per Jace's coments
