F20 Tz_Dc_OverCurr_Fault

Hi

I have been getting a F20 DC overcurrent fault on the last few attempts to run my hydro turbine. The manual says it is a battery issue but the narrative does not make much sense ( below). I have checked the battery set up and I cant see what would be wrong ( below). This issue seems to have happened since we did a factory reset to get a software update under guidance from the Support team. Has anyone had this issue and found the solution? I have a 16kW inverter, 8 x sunsynk batteries and a 1.5Kw AC water turbine going through a three phase rectifier..

Any help appreciated....

F20 DC over current fault of the hardware This is normally caused by the battery not being able to deliver email (??) to current inverting needs. Overcurrent on the battery. To clear this fault you must focus on the battery and battery discharge settings. You need to check the C rating of the battery, can the battery provide the current your system needs you may have an 8 kW inverter but unless the battery can supply 8 kW it will simply crash out.

  1. Check the battery C rating

  2. Check the maximum discharge the inverter is set to

  3. On the controller check the maximum power inverter can supply this is a global setting you can see this on the main controller

  4. Check the battery cables are heavy enough to meet the demands

  5. Hi current overload on start up may also cause this causes fault

Hi

Thats interesting.

Yes, I have "priority load" ticked as I wanted to feed the load first but if it is causing issues then I can change it. I will make the change this and see what happens....and feed back.

Thanks for the input, appreciate it.
