Turning off Sunsynk BYD batteries and reducing charge
Hi,
I'm currently experiencing an issue where the batteries are being continuously charged even at 100%, although the system seems to stick at 99%, regardless of how many kWh is going to the batteries. When the batteries have been turned off, the inverter exports as normal. Is it safe to charge the batteries to 90% and then turn these off using the on/off buttons on the batteries? Doing this will allow the export of solar for payment. Is it also possible to reduce the charging rate of the batteries from the solar? Again, doing this will allow export.

In battery settings you can change battery charge and discharge amps.
Bear in mind that the energy that goes into the battery is not lost so whatever goes in there you can get out (minus some inefficiencies)
