Firmware update
About 12 months ago, sunsynk released an invertor power saving update that enabled the system to be configured to power down when there was no solar input and the SOC dropped below a selected level. The solution worked to the extent that it powered down when expected and powered back up when the sun came up.
The problem is that once powered down, the invertor could not take advantage of any cheaper rate tariff to charge the batteries overnight.
Ideally, the system powers off and on based on time, not just absence of solar and SOC setting.
Has anyone found a way around this, or, have sunsynk released a further update to address this?
