Can I charge my battery to 90% only?

My thinking goes like this. In the summer (or just on a sunny day) the battery is constantly bouncing off the 100% limit all day from about 9am until about 5pm. Any bit of load from the house is usually taken up by the solar and even if it does use a bit of the battery, it soon tops back up again to 100%. I'm wondering if that's bad for the battery. I wonder if maybe limiting it to 90%-95% would be better? I know the same thing will happen but at a lower % but I think this might be better for the battery health than doing it at 100%?

Q1) Am I just wildly wrong on this?

Q2) Can you actually do this? Maybe I'm just missing it or bing dim but I can't find anywhere that would limit this all the time. Sure you can set SOC to 90% but that only applies when you're charging from the grid. Not Solar. Solar will just always push it right the way to full if it can. What am I missing?

That is why I commented as I did originally.

Just for fun:

So how exactly is your system setup then ....................... What exactly defines "work as it is now"?
