Hybrid Inverter or not ?
Hi - Hoping this is appropriate to this forum. I have received a proposal for Sunsynk 5.12 kWh battery storage to existing solar panels (3.75 Kwh) subject to FITs- The inverter proposed is a Hybrid inverter -- my understanding is or was that I should be looking for an AC Inverter. Does the Sunsynk hybrid inverter work with or replace the existing inverter - would the install affect the FITs ? Unfortunately the installer was unable to answer those questions. I have since watched some Sunsynk tube videos - which seem to suggest the system is well worth considering.

Why not just trust the installer? You say your understanding is/was that you should be looking for an AC coupled charger inverter. What are you basing that on? Where did you get that information from?
