Valuation Method Setting
straightforward question, is valuation method for incoming or g pricing?
I'm using hourly pricing setting,
I'm on octopus flux and have 3 incoming prices and 3 outgoing prices a day and would like to make sure my system is calculating correctly for me

Yes, I looked at the grid export settings initially, but concluded like you that the only way to specify one for a specific time-slot was to change the settings manually. Ideally, the options should apply to each time-slot to allow the priorities to be changed. Based on the last couple of days, I went from 70% to 15% battery (the minimum level I've set) between 7pm and the 2am recharge, so the ability to force export pure excess at peak is very limited anyway. There's a marginal gain from fully discharging at 35p between 4-7pm and using grid at 33p after that, I suppose, but the effort to achieve it, particularly being reliant on manually changing settings, isn't really worth the effort currently.
