Sunsynk 8.8kw
Hi, I have just had a Sunsynk 8.8kw fitted today. The install was fine, 21 panels and no battery. The only thing I'm questioning is why my app shows no usage from the property. I was expecting to see the PV input grid input overlaid with the house usage. My installer says that this won't show until I attach a battery, is that the case? Seems odd....

Yes, I guess the CT doesn't do much for you if theres no battery, theres not much system management you can do. The CT was supplied with the inverter so I fitted it and was able to see power flow; batteries came later.
