How to stop battery export

I am using Octopus Flux and I want to stop the export from my battery between 16:00 and 19:00 because I want to keep the power to use overnight and get me through until the PV charges them thus also avoiding, or at least reducing any import charges between 02:00 and 05:00.

I have the 'cheap' import set to a SoC of 70%, assuming that I can charge up quickly in the morning when PV comes online and this is working well.

If I set the SoC to 100% for the export period in the afternoon then the inverter will draw from the grid rather than the battery if the PV drops below the house load. If I set the SoC to 90% then the inverter will drain the battery down to 90% and start importing for the house load rather than using the battery.

It seems to me that the SoC set in the export period becomes sacrosanct and the inverter will not use the battery to supply the house when the SoC is reached and the PV is unable to meet the house load.

Any suggestions as to how should I set up the inverter to stop a forced discharge of the battery for export, especially between 16:00-19:00 yet allow the PV to export if it is generating enough during the same period and have the house use the battery when the load is higher than the PV generation?

Hi Are you using sunsynk flux integration as set in the app from plant ... more top right and revenue info and live price and then selecting octopus flux. Try adjusting the settings here for time 2. If this integration is set it will ignore and chnage the timers set on system mode for slots 1 and 2
