8 kw max panels.
Hi i would like to change the configuration of the pannels i have.
I currently have in this configuration
2 x MPPT
MPPT 1 = 10 x Qcell 390w G9 all wired in series 0 deg 10 x 45voc =450voc 10.71 Isc
MPPT 2 = 10 x Qcell 390w G9 all wired in series 18 deg 10 x 45voc =450voc 10.71 Isc
At peak this produced 6200w last year.
Proposed new layout
2 x MPPT MPPT 1 = 16 x Qcell 390w G9 wired 2 x 8 in series into 2 x parallel 2x 360v=180voc 2 x 11A Isc = 22A Isc MPPT 2 =16 x Qcell 390w G9 wired 2 x 8 in series into 2 x parallel 2x 360v=180voc 2 x 11A isc = 22A Isc
At peak this is proposed to produce 9920w
Unit max
10400w
425voc
2 x 28A PV ISC
Would this be ok? And would this be ok if it was to raise above the 10400w. i am ok with clipping aslong as the unit dosent get damaged.

Actually, your current setup is on the limit for VoC, your VoC 45.06 per panel @25C, which means @-10C you have 49.3V per panel.
Your calculations for 2nd setup are incorrect, it's going to be VoC up to 394V (-10C) and lower at higher temperatures.
But. other than that 2x2x8 is a lot better setup, you could even go for 3 string in parallel on each MPPT.
The only value you can't exceed is the VoC on the inverter and that is going to be ok.
