Hi some quick advice....I am having to re roof a shed and I was wondering - if I could install solar panels and add it to an existing string - I know it is is not optimal as the orientation is different - but I will take what ever it will give. So I was thinking of feeding the DC voltage into a small paralleled set up - increasing the voltage...which is ok.... If I got some shading on shed....should I use optomisers so that power could flow easily if there is shading???? Has anyone done this .... I have 2 paralleled 5kw Eco inverters....advice would be welcome....can this be done??? (Note I would be using JK 440w panels - matching existing arrays panels). Note the shed would be reinforced to take extra weight.
