Clarification of settings for export
Hi.
I'm posting to check that I've got the correct settings for my inverter as I'm pretty new to this game! I've a Sun Synk 3.6K Hybrid Parity Inverter (https://www.sunsynk.org/3-6kw-hybrid-inverter) I've not changed any settings apart from those below (I'm assuming that the installer settings are ok as the system has been working fine in generating power and charging the battery) But now that I've signed up to an export tariff I want the system to supply any load first, then charge the battery and finally export the excess
So on the system mode page "system 1" tab the grd and gen boxes are unticked as is the Use Timer box
On the System2 tab I have unticked Zero Export, ticked Solar Export and ticked Priorty Load (this last one is the one I'm a bit unsure about) The grid trickle and Inverter power limit have been left unchanged at 20w and 3600w respectively.
Fianlly I'm assuming that pressing OK on the system mode page is all that I need to do to have those settings applied. It may seem a silly question but age has taught me to doublecheck that I haven't missed something obvious such as pressing the physical enter switch on the inverter panel below the display!
Thanks for any help, H

If your battery lasts all night until the next day's charging start, then that seems fine. If, like me, your battery doesn't last that long (especially in winter), you could go for a 2 tariff electricity plan (e.g. Octopus Go or similar) and then you can use the timer to top up the battery to the relevant % during the low rate period. Then battery will supply the load when Solar is inadequate in the day. Effectively you will be paying night charges for day usage - which in the case of Octopus Go is ~75% saving.
