Battery charge rate management Grid vs PV

Hi Keith / everyone,

In the 8kW - is it possible to have different battery charge rates for PV input and grid?

E.g. we have one installation where the DB board in an old house with Samite breakers does not handle the higher charge rate (50A to a Hubble AM-2) when other high draw items are also pulling large amps from the grid e.g. the geysers.

Ideally we want to be able to limit grid charging to e.g. 20A at night after load-shedding when the grid returns but during the day off PV the batteries should be charged at the max battery input rate of 50A in order to charge as quickly as possible in the morning and maximize the PV available (north-east facing panels unfortunately, due to roof design).

There is no need to charge off the grid "quickly" as there is ample time to return the battery from 50% SOC after loadshedding so a max 20A grid charge rate would be ideal but direct PV charge from MPPT to battery would like max rate @ 50A.
