Why is my battery discharging while grid power is present?
Hi guys, I need some help please.
I have a Sunsynk 5kw Inverter with a LCB 6.2kw lithium battery connected.
When I switch the inverter on, you can see it starts charging the battery by indicating - amps and - watts. As soon as the battery reaches full capacity, the inverter starts to use battery power even if the grid is present?
In the pictures below you can see the battery is discharging at 158w and 3amps.
I would appreciate any help

We have been able to install the Sunsynk 5kW unit. All in order. I do not have solar as yet.
The only issue is that the installer says that the change-over to battery power during a grid outage is a manual operation, i.e. I would need to manually switch over the battery power to the essential circuits. I assumed the changeover would be automatic as we need this feature at our office when we are not there. Is the installer correct in what he is telling me. Please advise.
